Introduction

This species is only known from the holotype male from the North Kimberley region of Western Australia. It was named for the collector, Dr I.D. Naumann.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Finely punctate, setae minute. Face dark, adult uniformly dark. Lateral pronotal processes wide, blunt, erect and longitudinally strongly ridged. Subcostal cell dark, tegmen with dark spots near apex. Median pronotal process tip depressed apically. Length (holotype ♂) 4.5 mm (Day 1999).
