Natuurkundig Tijdschrift voor Nederlandsch Indië 11: 383-414 [395] [derivation is apparently from the Greek ambly = blunt + oura = tail + pteron = fin and is a noun in apposition transliterated as amblyuopterus; see also Bleeler. 1874].
