Introduction

This pale species was described from a locality of unknown location in Western Australia. Clearly, the specimen was collected somewhere along the Coastal Highway which runs from Perth to Port Hedland in the north Pilbara. The specimen pictured here is a male in the J.W. Evans collection, identified by Faith Evans, from the Millstream area of the Pilbara and this might give some indication of the location of the type locality. The specimen bears a paratype label but no mention of paratypes was made in the original description.
