PINNOTHERIDAE: Pinnotheres pisum (Linnaeus, 1767) — Pregenzer, C. 1979. A redescription of Pinnotheres hickmani (Guiler) and comparison with P. novaezelandiae Filhol and P. pisum (L.) (Decapoda: Brachyura). Crustaceana Suppl. 5: 22-30 [29] (examined a range of Australian material, over a wide geographic area, and from the same hosts from which P. pisum had earlier been recorded for Australia, and concluded that all material was attributable to Pinnotheres hickmani (Guiler, 1949). Pinnotheres pisum is otherwise only known from the NE Atlantic and Mediterranean region)
