• Phylladiorhynchus Baba, K. 1969. Four new genera with their representatives and six new species of the Galatheidae in the collection of the Zoological Laboratory, Kyushu University, with redefinition of the genus Galathea. Ohmu.   Type species:

   Galathea pusilla Henderson, 1885 by original designation.

 

Introduction

The genus recovered as monophyletic in the combined molecular and morphological phylogenetic analysis of Rodríguez-Flores et al. (2022).

P. integrirostris was redescribed by Schnabel et al 2019 and does not occur in Australia.
