Diagnosis
Column approximately 150 mm length, 125 mm width. Vesicles either deep chrume-yellow with bluish vertical stripes, or bluish-grey with light stripes. Vesicles 25 mm long and 13 mm broad. Oral disc of not much greater diameter than column, yellowish passing into orange or dark grey. Mouth large, circular. Actinopharynx with 20 or more folds. Tentacles numerous, of moderate length, up to 25 mm, in 3 or 4 cycles. Tentacles yellow, orange, or bluish, usually yellowish at base then often brownish with a yellow tip. Marginal sphincter muscle elongate and diffuse, extends vertically from outermost tentacle to uppermost vesicles. Mesenteries at base (~390) more numerous than at margin (~280-290). At least 24 pairs of perfect mesenteries. Pedal disc lightly adherent.
