Introduction

This subgenus is distributed from Japan, through the Oriental region to New Caledonia in the western Pacific. One species is recorded from Australia.

Diagnosis

Tegmina with two preapical cells. male pyigofer strongly tapered apically to acute or spine-like tip; dorsal connectives slender, sinuate, each armed near dorsal end with slender process curved dorsad from bulbous base (Hamilton 1980).
