Extra Distribution Information
Previous records from off Onslo, WA to east of Dunk Island, QLD (17º54´S), one adult and one larval specimen recorded from west of Geraldton, WA (29-30º S), also collected from south of Norfolk Island but outside Australian territorial waters (32º35' S), however other species have misidentified as this species and the only reliable records from Australia are from the Arafura Sea, NT; tropical, east-Indo-west Pacific.
