Introduction
A widely distributed (circum-Antarctic) shallow water species that has been recorded from Adelie Land and The Ross Sea and is likely to be present in Australian Antarctic Territory.

Macquarie Island (54°35'S, 158°55'E) and Heard Island (53°07'S, 73°20'E) and probably throughout Australian Antarctic Territory; sub-Antarctic Islands of Southern oceans, Southern Ocean, circum-Antarctic.
