Introduction
This very dark species is only known from the wet tropics of North Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Coloration black and dark brown. Face flat. Pronotum declivous, together with scutellum, black. Ventral surface of thorax and abdomen, and legs, black. Length ♂ 6 mm (Evans 1981).
