Introduction
This monotypic endemic genus is only known from the wet tropics of North Queensland.

Diagnosis
Small insects appearing completely black in colour. Tegmen dark hyaline brown; veins black. Male genitalia: pygophore narrowing and irregularly shaped posteriorly; aedeagus consisting of two vertical columns, a short proximal one and a longer distal one, apically divided into two finger-like lobes. Xth segment with a pair of unusually long, narrow, curved processes arising from the base (Evans 1981).
