Notes
Netrostoma was regarded by Mayer (1910: 651) as a junior synonym of Cephea. However, Stiasny (1923) - need reference - demonstrated that the radial canal pattern is diagnostically different between the two genera, with Netrostoma having three canals arising in each octant, not communicating with the primary canals, compared with about seven canals arising in each octant in Cephea, in communication with the primary canals.
