Introduction

This tiny pale species is only known from the type locality south of Bunbury, Western Australia. The only specimen in the J.W. Evans collection is missing its head.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

General coloration pale yellowish brown. Face of head broadly triangular; anteclypeus and postclypeus somewhat darker in colour than the rest of the head. Crown equal in length with eyes on each side. Tegmen vitreous. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface yellowish brown with black markings. Length ♂ 4 mm (Evans 1966).
