Diagnosis
Integumental colour of head yellow, male with antennae black, female yellow. Scutum black; postpronotal lobes black in male, yellow in female, scutellum and legs yellow. Pleurae yellow except anteroventral corner of anepisternum, ventral half of katepisternum, and meropleurite black. Abdomen integumental colour black except narrow apical bands yellow. Hairs on frons yellow, some brown adjacent to ocellar tubercle. Hairs on scape black in male; mostly yellow in female, some black admixed dorsally and distally. Reflective scales on scutum, scutellum and abdomen green. Wings with yellow infuscation on basal 1/3, proximal to an imaginary line drawn through the tip of R1, r-m and the basal half of dm; this region poorly differentiated from hyaline apical 2/3 in females and some males. Haltere knob yellow. Body length 7.7-9.5 mm.
