Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus sp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Tree; Eucalyptus resinifera Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Red Mahogany), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Eucalyptus drepanophylla F.Muell. ex Benth., 1867 [MYRTACEAE] Grey Ironbark).

Extra Ecological Information

Brooks (1949) listed this species from Eucalyptus resinifera; Hawkeswood & Peterson (1982) recorded this species from under bark of E. drepanophylla; Hawkeswood (1990) repeated that record.
