   Narcine tasmaniensis Richardson, 1841 by original designation.

Introduction

Previously treated as a synonym of Narcine (e.g., Last 1994; Compagno & Heemstra 2007), but resurrected by Last et al. (2016) for Australian species based on molecular and morphological evidence.
