Introduction

This delightfully yellow species is found in the top end from the NE corner of Western Australia to the upper reaches of the north brigalow belt in Queensland. It was named for "Carol Jarvis of Sydney, a friend of the author".

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: grassland, phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

This species is distinguished by the presence of two curved black lines marking the upper margin of the frons, which is quite consistent and distinctive and by the structures of the male genitalia (Fletcher 2000).
