Introduction

This species, characterised by the very short head, is only known from the type locality in the northern part of South Australia. It is the only species recorded in that State.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: grassland, phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

This species is readily distinguishable from others in the genus by the short crown with evenly rounded anterior margin and by the elongate, arched aedeagus (Dietrich 2021).
