     Holotype KS84126 , New South Wales, Moree, 48km SW, access road to 'Illuka Station', native grassland [29°40'S, 149°25'E].
    Paratype(s) KS73866 2,3, same data as holotype; KS73867 1, Burren-Pokataroo, 4.6km W, A. pendula patch [29°49'S, 148°57'E]; KS73862–63 1f,3m, Native grassland, opposite Pilliga turnoff [30°57'S, 148°26'E]; KS73864 1, Gidginbilla Station, E. largiflorens [30°26'S, 148°12'E]; KS73865 2, Native grassland, turnoff to 'Allawa Station' [30°08'S, 147°57'E].

Diagnosis

This species resembles M. bennieae, M. mas, M. ocellum and M. queensland in having the AME smallest but can be distinguished by the abdominal pattern that consists of one pair of pale spots on top and one in front of the spinnerets.
