Type data:
Holotype BMNH ♂, mid Queensland.

Introduction
The type locality for this species is given as "mid Queensland" despite the presence of a precisely located male paratype. Presumably holotype selection was made on the basis of preferred repository - which was BMNH, rather than an Australian collection. The known distribution of the species is from near Gladstone, SE Queensland to NE New South Wales with "mid Queensland" presumably falling somewhere in that range.
