Holotype NWAFU ♂ (coll. Zhang Wenzhou and Ren Liyun, 20 July 1995), China, Shaanxi Province, Liuba.
Introduction
This small brown leafhopper was first described from NW China and recognised in the Australian fauna by Fletcher and Dai (2018). It is widely distributed in coastal regions from Darwin in the Northern Territory to near Wyong in New South Wales. It is also known from Prince of Wales Island in Torres Strait. Its wide distribution in Australia indicates that it may occur naturally here rather than having been introduced from China although it is possible it is adventive and has spread around the coast from an unknown introduction site.

Diagnosis
This species can be distinguished from other Australian species by the presence of an internal strut of the pygofer, the long curved apical process of the paramere, the well developed internal ridging of the subgenital plate and the presence of a prominent heel at the base of the aedeagus where it meets the connective (Fletcher and Dai 2018).
