Species Maiestas lucindae (Kirkaldy, 1907)

Compiler and date details

29 June 2011 - Murray J. Fletcher

Introduction

This species was described from a number of male and female syntypes but Fletcher & Condello (1993) were only able to find a single female syntype which they chose not to designate as lectotype in the hope that a male syntype would eventually be found. As a result, the identity of the species remains uncertain. it is certainly a species of Maiestas.
