Introduction

This species is similar in male genitalia to L. pseudodecisa (Muir), also from the Northern Territory, but is distinctively marked with brown spots on the tegmen, a feature used in his key to species by Van Stalle (1992) but omitted from the description of the species. It has been collected from Pandanus.

Adult: phloem feeder.

Diagnosis

The aedeagus resembles that of L. pseudodecisa but both species can be easily separated by the brown spots present in this species (Van Stalle 1992).
