Only the type species, from the Sydney basin and Mt Kosciuszko regions of New South Wales, has been described but a second species is known from the south coast of South Australia, including Kangaroo Island.

Diagnosis
The face of the head is flat and wider than long and the labium terminates at the base of the middle coxae. The antennae extend beyond the outer margin of the head and antennal ledges are lacking. The crown, which is slightly longer in the centre than against the eyes, is flat and the ocelli, which are on the margin of the head close to but not adjoining the eyes, are not visible from above. The tegmina are short and broad and in the female do not extend as far as the apex of the abdomen (Evans 1966).
