Introduction

Treated by Timms (2009) as the European species Eoleptestheria ticinensis (Balsamo-Crivelli, 1859) but identified as a new species by Padhye & Rabet (2023) following Schwentner et al. (2020).

Known from three widely separate locations, near Thargomindah, QLD, Kuranda near Cairns, QLD, and SE of Karatha, WA,

Australian Endemic.
