Type data:
Holotype ANIC ♂ (coll: I.D. Naumann & J.C. Cardale, 17.v.1983, ex ethanol), Walsh Point, Western Australia [14°34'S 125°51'E].
Introduction
Another smallish brown species of eurybrachid planthopper. Like its congener, this species is restricted to the northern tropical coastline of Western Australia and the Northern Territory although it has been recorded more commonly in Western Australia while K. euronotoides has more records from the Northern Territory.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
The species can be differentiated by the fusion of the gonostyli over the basal four fifths of their length. Females can only be identified if they are associated with males.
