Holotype SAMA ♂ (coll.: F.P. Dodd), Townsville, Queensland.

This species is unknown to the compiler. It is only known from the type series of two specimens from Townsville, Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: gregarious, myrmecophilous, phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Head greyish buff but for the maxillary plates and lorae which are evenly mottled with dark brown and yellow. Pronotum and scutellum grey mottled with dark brown. Tegmen transparent with two brown spots against the hind margin of the clavus; veins pale brown with white bars; appendix continuing narrowly around the apex of the tegmen. Thorax ventral surface black. Legs, proximal part of femora black, distal part yellowish; tibiae yellowish, the apices of the hind tibiae black. Abdomen ventral surface pale brown. Male subgenital plates recurved at apices; aedeagus simple. Length 4 mm, head width 1.7 mm (Evans 1934).
