Introduction
This species is associated with species of mistletoes (Loranthaceae) in inland parts of SE Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: gregarious, myrmecophilous, phloem feeder (associated flora: Amyema pendulum Sprengel [LORANTHACEAE]).
Diagnosis
Head; maxillary plates and lora whitish; anteclypeus and frontoclypeus medially black mottled with pale yellowish brown; vertex marked with a pattern of black, light and dark brown. Crown of head and pronotum concolorous with the vertex. Scutellum anterior angles black, the remainder black mottled with brown. Tegmen hyaline, veins black with white bars; claval area brown with two irregular white markings. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface pale brown. Length 5 mm (Evans 1939).
