Diagnosis
This species seems to be the southern sister species of the H. aspinosum-group, which it resembles in having a sclerotised, blunt, distally flattened EP of the dorsal tibial apophysis and a broadened TBE at the base of the embolus in males and 2 lateral sickle-shaped CO. Males can be distinguished by the tripartite RDTA with sharp tip and bilobate prong, females by the long sausage-shaped S.
