Introduction

This strange little leafhopper has an enormous head for the size of the body. The head is flattened dorsally but deeply keeled ventrally so that the anterior view is T-shaped. It is not common in collections but specimens are known from near Gloucester Tops in New South Wales and from two locations in Queensland, Bunya Mountains (type locality) in SE Queensland and near Mt Molloy in North Queensland. These records indicate that the species may prefer higher altitudes.
