Introduction
Mionorus ramsayi Fowler, 1908 is sometimes listed as a synonym of this species, but it is a synonym of Vincentia conspersa. The confusion appears to be related to the similar name Gulliveria ramsayi Macleay, 1881, which is a synonym of Glossamia aprion.
