Several isolated populations, Finniss River (130º09´E) to Groote Eylandt (136º38´E), NT, Cape York from Jardine River system (11º08´S) to Mission and Wenlock Rivers (12º47´S), Cape Flattery area near Starcke (15º03'S), and from Cairns (16º55'S) to Murray Swamps (18º01´S) near Tully, QLD, also Mua Island (10º11'S), Torres Strait; tropical, New Guinea.
