Introduction
Tornabene et al. (2016) described Eviota punyit, which can only be separated from E. sebreei from DNA and live coloration. Consequently they regarded the Australia records of E. sebreei as uncertain. We include the species here based on photos on inaturalist from north of Lizard Island and off Townsville. Records from Western Australia require confirmation.
