Holotype ANIC ♂ (coll.: 1–20.xii.1967, W.J.M Vestjens, light trap), Tindal, Northern Territory [14.31S 132.22E].
Introduction
This slender species is known from localities in the northern parts of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. It overlaps in both states with other species in the genus.

All stages: xylem feeder.
Diagnosis
This species can be distinguished by the relatively slender and elongate body, and the male subgenital plates that are distinctly elongate, more cloasely adjacent to each otehr and more straightly directed posterodorsally (Liang, et al. (2012).
