Diagnosis
Head with nude vertexal foveae; antennal clubs formed by apical 1-3 antennomeres, antennomeres X usually strongly transverse and often not much wider than IX; ventrolateral margins beneath eyes sharply rounded to basally carinate, with carinae faint to distinct; narrow gular carina moderately prominent, broadly rounded in lateral view. Pronotum with median and lateral antebasal foveae subequal in size and nude; pronotal base usually with wrinkled band. Each elytron with 0-2 basal foveae, often only discal basal fovea present. Visible sternite 2 (IV) with basolateral sulci distinct to base shallowly depressed.
