Head with small nude vertexal foveae; antennae with clubs formed from apical 1-3 antennomeres; with small postantennal notches to indistinct slits at lateral margins; ventrolateral margins with carinae at head base, often curving up to eyes; with low gular carina. Pronotum with lateral antebasal foveae punctiform or lacking; area of pronotal base smooth. Elytra lacking foveae and discal striae. Visible tergite 1 (IV) lacking mediobasal foveae and impression; visible sternite 2 (IV) flat at base
