Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Daviesia latifolia R.Br. [FABACEAE] Hop Bitter-pea; Pultenaea daphnoides J.C.Wendl. [FABACEAE] Large-leaf Bitter-pea; Dillwynia spp. [FABACEAE]; Pultenaea acerosa R.Br. ex Benth. [FABACEAE]; Pultenaea sp. [FABACEAE]), volant.
Larva: gall-inducer (associated flora: Dillwynia retorta (J.C.Wendl.) Druce [FABACEAE] Heathy Parrot Pea).
Extra Ecological Information
Carter (1923) recorded this species from Dillwynia sp., Pultenaea sp. and Leptospermum sp.; Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Daviesia latifolia (Fabaceae); Hawkeswood & Peterson (1982) repeated the record of Froggatt (1892) for this species breeding in root galls of Dillwynia retorta; Cowie (2001) listed this species from "Bush peas", Dillwyina spp.
