Holotype AM K71525 ♂ (coll: light trap), Darwin, Northern Territory.
Introduction
This species was placed by Dworakowska (1992) into the limbata species group. It is distributed across the tropical north from the Darwin coast, along the coast of Queensland to the northeast of New South Wales.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: parenchyma feeder.
Diagnosis
This species bears a single round black spot at the apex of the head and the costal and claval areas of the tegmen are dark brown basally. It can be distinguished from other species of the genus with similar markings only by comparison with the male genitalia which were figured by Dworakowska (1972).
