Introduction
The species is actually a complex of several closely related species. Once thought to be widespread, it is now considered to be restricted to the western Pacific (Mennesson & Keith 2020, Mennesson et al. 2021). Two species are known from Australia in the complex, but the precise identity of Australian material has not been determined.
