Diagnosis
Typically with 16 white-tipped tentacles in two cycles each of eight, the inner longer than the outer; 8 macrocnemes and 8 microcnemes. Nemathybomes not visible to the naked eye, concentrated in a band along the centre of each marcocoel, containing microbasic b-mastigophores. Physa imperforate.
