Ecological Descriptors

Larvae have been recorded as feeding on Antidesma venosum (Euphorbiaceae).

[378: Note #717] (Ecpatia dulcistriga (Walker, 1858). Turner (1902b) described the genus Ecpatia Turner with type species Anophia dulcistriga Walker, implying the presence of E. dulcistriga Walker in Australia. The holotype of E. dulcistriga Walker came from "Caffraria" [Africa]. The figure in Pinhey (1975) is superficially similar to Australian specimens so the name was included in the Checklist pending a thorough revision of the genus)
