Extra Distribution Information

Erratic vagrant on Christmas Island, see Andrews (1900), Gibson-Hill (1947) and Stokes (1988), possibly also Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Elsewhere this nomadic form is widespread on small islands in the Indo-Melanesian archipelagos, west to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, north to the Philippines, and east to the Moluccas and W New Guinean islands.
