Introduction

A species not well represented in collections but widespread along coastal New South Wales. Nothing is known of its biology but it is probably fungivorous as a nymph.

Ecological Descriptors

Adult: sap-feeder.

Nymph: fungivore.

 

Diagnosis

Paler in colour than D. obscurifrons and with the pterostigmatic area less well defined and less densly reticulate. Tegmen glassy clear with transverse brown bandings and bearing a distinct preapical line of crossveins.
