Introduction
This is one of five new Australian genera described by Emeljanov (2005) in Russian. Two species were placed in the genus by Emeljanov, one from New South Wales and the other extending from New South Wales to northern Tasmania.

Diagnosis
Brown with hyaline and brown forewings. Vertex almost as long as wide. Pronotum lacking lateral areolets. Tegmen with well defined pterostigma of reticulate veins. Similar in general appearance to Parabunda but lacking the lateral areolets on the pronotum found in Parabunda which also has a less well defined reticulate pterostigma.
