Introduction

A widespread but not common species. The species has been found from coastal localities as well as in the Snowy Mountains. Little is known of its biology although one specimen was collected as a nymph on a bracket fungus.

Ecological Descriptors

Adult: sap-feeder.

Nymph: fungivore.

 

Diagnosis

Tegmina apically truncate, glassy clear with brown markings. Well defined large pterostigmatic area with dense reticulate veins. Hind wing with brown infuscation around apex.
