Species Kahaono aneala (Kirkaldy, 1906)

Compiler and date details

18 February 2012 - Murray J. Fletcher

Introduction

This species is only known from females collected in the Sydney basin in 1905. A series of similar specimens, of both sexes, collected on Richea continentis B.L.Burtt (Ericaceae) from the Kosciuszko region may also be this species but may represent an undescribed species. Without male specimens, it may not be possible to determine the true identity of K. aneala.
