Introduction

A species differentiated by Kirkaldy (1907) from "Delphax" dryope Kirkaldy (now Toya dryope (Kirkaldy), on the basis of colour. Its validity and true generic affinities need to be determined through examination of the type series which includes males and females from two localities in the wet tropics of North Queensland.
