Note
There has been considerable controversy over the validity of the generic names Cyzicus Audouin, Estheria Rüppell and Isaura Joly. However in a submission to the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature, Mattox (1957) established the validity of Cyzicus and put Estheria and Isaura in the 'Official Index of Rejected and Invalid Generic Names in Zoology'. The genus Cyzicus does not occur in Australia, but the original description of Estheria rufa is too vague to decide whether or not it belongs to Caenestheria or Caenestheriella (see Richter & Timms 2005).
