Type data:
Holotype ANIC ♂ (coll: T. Weir, 29.vi-5.vii.1998, at light, open forest), Langi Lagoon, Mungkan Kandju NP, Queensland [13°27'S 142°42'E].
Introduction
Based on a single male specimen collected at light at Mungkan Kandju National Park, Cape York Peninsula, Queensland. The species is named after Leigh Pilkington who was a fellow postgraduate student of the first author at the University of Sydney, Orange campus.

Diagnosis
Morphology Body length. ♂ 5.8 mm. Head. Vertex 2× longer than wide; produced before eyes by 3/4–1× eye length; caudal border u-shaped; caudal border v-shaped; median carina less than 1/4 as long as vertex. Frons more than 2.3× longer than wide; median carina incomplete, 1/3–1/2 as long as frons. Thorax. Hind margin of pronotum rectangular. Forewing more than 4× longer than wide; costa with 11–14 tubercles; Sc+R+M forming very short common stem or Sc+R forming common stem, with M emerging separately from basal cell; fork of Sc+R distad of fork of CuA1+CuA2; position of icu at CuP at same level as apex of clavus; 10 apical cells. Hind leg: tibia with ~3 small lateral spines (without large lateral spines); 1st tarsomere with 11–12 apical teeth and 6–7 platellae; 2nd tarsomere with 10 apical teeth and eight platellae. Male genitalia. Aedeagus: phallotheca with a long moderately curved spine arising on right side above midlength and ending dorsal of phallotheca, a second moderately curved spine on left side above midlength and a third, shorter spine moderately curved in one plane arising ventrolaterally about midlength; flagellum unarmed.
