Introduction
This species was listed by Medler (2001) from many localities in New Guinea and Indonesia with a series from Mindanao in the Philippines. A single male was listed by Medler (2001) from Darwin, Northern Territory, although Medler (1989) had also listed three Torres Strait islands as part of the distribution. Medler (1989) also provided a list of plant hosts of the species in New Guinea.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Overall colour light green or bleached green, often light stramineous, ochraceous, or off-white; thorax and underside of body ochraceous in contrast to green dorsally; tarsi light pink. Tegmen unicolorous except whre margins are narrowly red, including vein terminations; red margin lacking or evanescent along basal ¾ of costal margin and claval margin. Normally, red spots, sometimes small concentration of red on discal cell crossvein. Sutural and apical angles of nearly similar obtuse configuration, sutural angle less convex; apical margin shallowly convex. Hind leg spine formula 1 : 6 : 7 (Medler 1989).
